the php trick works to you thats great now try this we call it 'reverse ip trick'
for om4.2 or om5
proxy add: mini5beta.opera-mini.net
port: 80
to your om4.2 or om5 server:
http server:
http://mxit.co.za:80
front query:
mxit.co.za
just follow exactly what i have typed.

I double checked everything. It still only loads. Here are some screen-shots:

For some reason it installs over each time I run it:

That loading screen was after about 10min.
So do you know what's wrong or do you have any other tricks I can try?

cause as you said php trick works so cgi should work also.
What is the unit of your phone?
You can still download as long as the setting that you used in your om5 is the same with your default browser.

your phone only support numeric ip right? You have to ping the url to ip,

@Sitnet - Your settings look pritty much de same as mine. I think de app u r using may b corupted. Open OM5 > Go to Menu>Help>About Opera & tell me what u find there.

that is always a problem with cgi, cause there are many users, and s0metimes abuse it.
lets try again the reverse ip trick this in its numeric

i don't know if the download trick will work to your phone if it doesn't have jsr 75. But reverse ip trick may work.

If downloading fails, just copy the download link from your om5, goto your default browser and do the php trick which is the smokeflower, then paste the download link in the box. I still have another cgi here if you wanna try

For bolt, just type "live.vodafone.com@" in the front query box, and leave the rest blank! Then connect using Vlive...

in your default browser select the setting you have made then click the homepage and the page to be loaded should be like this:
paste in the box, your download link, like shown below
then press GO
as shown below it started to download
