Can't send e-mail with T68 and ATT

I've searched the forum but cannot find this info. I connect to my T68 (AT&T) via bluetooth to an Ipaq 3900 PPC. I can recieve pop3 e-mail fine but cannot send any. I've herd of this problem before, is there any way to set it up. Thanks
