Hi Guys!...can someone help me?

Trying to set up my Samsung i600 for emails. Has worked ok previously but due to a reset, I have lost the settings and am trying to re configure. Have gone through all the settings, but when I press send/receive I get an error message stating 'Your Internet connection is not configured properly. Verify your settings in Data Connections'. Please can you help advise further on this?
I can access the Internet successfully!
