Hi everyone!
I am wondering what the best software is for ripping from DVD for my iPod Touch.
I know how to search but I am looking for the state of play now.
state of play! get it?
I found Handbrake but what kind of times can I expect the process to take using Handbrake?
I am trying with a dvd, that is 2 hours 15 minutes long, and get an estimate in the DOS window of 103 hours and increasing. now the estimate is 139 hours.
Output is to mp4 and I have not checked the large file size!
I guess I need to fine tune my output settings choice but not sure what is best.
Any advice welcomed !

Use DVD Decrypter, go to > Mode > IFO. Tools > Settings > IFO mode > Splitting > None.
Stream proccesing > Enable > Select all languages you want then click DVD to Hard drive picture.
Download Ultra Mobile 3GP convertor and get a serial from here (i'm not sharing the code by the way)
Then convert to MP4 then the correct res for the ipod and best qualities all round

In Handbrake, have you tried using the presets? There is a specific one for iPod touch/iPhone.

did I every mention DVD Catalyst to you?
thats what I use for DVD to any mobile platform and it has built in customisation for iphone etc
