what is the best way to revise for A-levels? got my As back today and wasn't happy expected to get better grades, thinking of re-sitting them and need help on revising effectivly. what should i do?

Different people have different methods that they find most helpful. I usually find doing lots of papers boosts your confidence as you get to know what you could expect to get and under certain time pressures. Make sure you look over the mark schemes and look at the things you get wrong though rather than just going onto another paper (i did that too much!)
I also find getting a revision guide from a bookshop for the subjects you find hard. They often give different explanations of the topic which can make you understand it better, but likewise it can confuse you a little on some of the stuff you already know, but this is no problem.
One big tip I would give is to try to shake the "oh I can retake it" attitude that I and many other people had. Ive just got my A-level results back and I found I worked a lot harder for these as I knew I couldnt retake them. Of course with AS-level there is that safety net, but its better if you treat each exam as your only chance.
Oh and dont get too down if you do mess up a module, I had BBBC at AS level. I dropped the C and now have ABB at A2 and going to my first choice Uni next year. Dont fret too much if you screw up 1 module! Good luck in the future!

Well i got CCCD which i was not expecting and i'm contemplating should i RE-take the whole year again don't know which is best to do =s was expecting much better grades.
