Orange goes green - Esato archive

Orange UK have gone green thinking of more waste and the environment and has ditched full sized sim card holders. Mobile phones have not used full size sim cards for many years but we still get the pointless full sized holder in a credit card format. Orange is changing this by supplying only the mini sim cards for selected pay monthly customers seeing a 90% reduction in materials. This is in addition to encouraging Orange subscribers to recycle their old handsets. Good move to reduce waste but why not the pay as you go sims? When you think of the fact that there are so many pay and go sim cards out there they would also stop using larger holders too. Source What Mobile.
