I recently got a Nokia 6303 which is great as my second phone. Anyway it says it only takes upto 4 giga byte cards but when i put in my 8 giga byte card it worked ok. My question is if its working will it damage the phone if its not officially compatible or could it be that the phones updated firmware has allowed it to take higher memory cards. I tried ringing Nokia but i ring at the wrong time of day and cant get through. Thanks anyone.

Shouldn't be a problem. I tried a 6303 yesterday for a customer in my shop and it worked also with an 16gb SDHC card

Great stuff. Well its still working now with my 8 giga byte card so fingers crossed nothing goes funny. Why do Nokia only say upto 4 giga byte though?

Because if its not a expressmusic phone they say it only works up to 4 or 8 gb.. expressmusic takes up to 16 gb

Daft buggers Nokia. Anyway as well as this phone i am enjoying my Samsung Pixon as my main phone. But the Nokia is much improved upgrade of the previous model. Now i am just waiting something decent from Sony Ericsson. I might be sometime lol only kidding.
