i would'nt get an lg again the first one i got crashed 3 times they could'nt fix it

My sister has an lg shine for a couple of years now and loves it.She's not had any problems with it either.My girlfriend has an lg cookie for the last 6 months which again has had no problems with.I also have an lg renoir which i also like.It's had a few problems like the occasional freezing up and restarting but a quick software reflash soon sorts it out.My mother also has the lg renoir lite which is O2 branded and has had no problems with it.With regard to updating your phone's software.If your phone came with a usb cable then it can be updated. You need to download the LG update service program and the usb drivers from the LG website.Turn you phone off and remove your sim and memory card if it has one.Start the update software,connect your phone and follow the prompts.As for how much a Shine costs. They can be bought for as little as £35 on pre-pay from carphone warehouse.

Its a nice phone but i read lots of forums saying it has poor signal strength. Not like new LG phone where signal is great.
