hi,
maybe we can change the timing of the flash a little bit
so that it fire before or after the shutter closes thereby creating a less exposed
frame....

Posted by witchking
K850 does not over-expose images when used properly. Make sure that your light sensor is cleaned. Its important.

You may use Manual Shutter-speed or Manual low ISO to get properly exposed images. Its really very simple with this driver. Just switch EV to -1.0 for ISO 100. Take a shot. It won't be over-exposed at all.

Posted by iHeartSE
Yup, witchking is right! I too had that problem of flash being too bright and pics coming out looking like a ghost till I cleaned the sensor with a wooden toothpick

Now, It's working perfectly and with a modded cam driver like the Cybershot Xperience, it works even better.
Try cleaning the sensor really good and like witchking said, it won't be over-exposed at all.

Hi salimbaba,
pls try this also, if u still have overexposed pics..
clean the cam sensor..

in auto mode switch EV to -1.0 for ISO 100 and take a shot.
you can see the result...
well i got this advice from witchking, and it cleared my problem and
so will be yours.
Iam sure....!!
thanks

hi witchking,

ur drivers are awesome.. i hav been using it since v6.0.
here i would like to make some minor suggestions...

1. Please try updating the test shots on the first page (been there since the early drivers, maybe with early ones
too)
2. I have mentioned this before. like these drivers (v6.0 above) sometimes produce "another
app running" error.(dont know maybe Bcos of my modified menu/flash themes/acoustic drivers etc)
have u come across any such error?? can you help me with this one??

Once again thankyou for devloping those gr8 drivers..Actually there is no other driver which gives all these
features in one.

Hi
I was wondering can you make a HDR mode by taking pictures 2 times? 1 on the lighter area (say sky) and 1 on the darker objects (buildings etc) and then combine them together like panorama but instead overlapping two pictures together.

Posted by witchking
HDR is not possible by camdriver but there is a JAVA application for this purpose. search for it.

someone explain me, how to do it with some pictures.

Posted by jigonx
@ Ganbayar

all you need to do is, put that camdriver (camdriver0.dat) to this path/location : IFS/settings/camera (by drag n drop from windows explorer to a2uploader window)

then close a2uploader (quit), disconnect your phone, and turn on. done

when i press X (close) after copy/paste camdriver and en.lng, displayed that:
*Please finish current operation*
What i did forget?
sorry my english.

Posted by edwardob
will it work on other phones...i see some are using ver4.1 on c905....will latest work on c905
thanks

Posted by Lightspeed_x
@Ganbayar: after you copy the file, you should stop file system, and then close the program... There should be a button that says: "shut down file system", then press stop, and finally close A2Uploader.

Sorry if Im mistaken, I do not have the program right now, these instructions are from the top of my head...

Posted by tranced
@Ganbayar: do what Lightspeed_x said or follow this Tutorial: Uploading files to A2 phones.

@edwardob: this camdriver is intended to work with K850 only. The C905 even has a different camera(8mp).

Hi great driver, I'm new with this stuff, and have a few questions, When I put the camdrvier0.dat into the folder will there be the original cam driver? And do I have to remove this? Also if I decide I want to go back to the original driver how would I do this? Would I have to reinstall the firmware?

Also my computer is pretty temperamental, if the USB ports stop working and so the connection between the phone and computer is broken, will this do any damage? Thanks

Posted by witchking
Hi guys! Try the new v 8.0!

And also, if you liked my camdrivers and the supermode scheme, please vote for me here

Answer to your questions.

1.when you drag and drop the file in ifs/settings/camera folder, it will simply replace the original with the new one. If you want to save the original, before putting new one, right click on original and press read. The original file will be saved in ph_out folder in the a2uploader folder in your pc. This way you can revert back to original whenever you want. No need to flash everytime. You can search for original camdrive as well at 4shared or here.

2. While uploading files to a2, if connection between your phone and your pc lost, nothing would be damage.

In video, have you noticed that it's kinda dark (even though the room is fairly litted), could someone give light to this issue?

u can check this thread..

I hope witchking noticed that problem. by the way is witchking off to vacation or something? he's not answering my pm's he he.

Posted by witchking
Greetings.
I shall have a look into this issue.

About the darkness in video, it is normal for CIF resolution, i tried fixing it but sometimes it gets darker when it's activated, restarting the camera fixes it. It's probably a firmware bug.

And in QVGA, video camera is not darker than the stock driver. They've the same framerate and all. The higher colour saturation can give it slightly darker effect.
You may increase the exposure one step while recording videos.
If that doesn't help, let me know.

@ Witchking

Regarding videos, I normally use the normal resolution as making it bigger makes it more pixelated. I also don't use the night mode thing (it makes video recording unrealistic, in slow-mo i mean which i do not like). Yes it is dark, although in certain occasions it gets brighter when i restart the camera (one or two occasions only). Hope you develop a super cybershot experience version 9.0 as soon as possible. It would be helpful for all seK850i. More power Witchking.
