Nokia has finally released the successor of its popular 6300. The new 6303 now features a 3.2 mega pixel camera with auto focus and LED flash. Also features VGA video @ 15 fps. Much improvement over its older model the 6300. Its design features again the same stainless steel frame with basic but stylish design with a slightly bigger 2.2 inch screen. Although the only let down is it still only features EDGE technology with no 3G. On top of all this the phone features a bold claim by Nokia with a battery life of 17 days standby or 7 hours talk time
This is improved over the old model which had poor battery life and was the main complaint. The new battery is a larger capacity one. The Nokia 6303 is also the smaller brother of the 3G enabled 6700 which also features the classic Nokia candy bar sleek design which has proved so popular. Saw the posters for it at the local CPW, for 100 quid (if memory serves me correctly) when bought with a T-Mobile PAYG sim; not sure which other networks were also offered with it. They were also advertising the 2 colour options, i.e. all-black or the 6300-esque black n' silver scheme.

urm i hate to say it but that isnt too impressive... the 17 days isnt bad but the iphone (sorry to bring it up) claims 300 hours (12 1/2 days) or 10 hours talktime (2g) so it has a better talk time. Im guessing the nokia just has a really good way of disabling everything when not in use, good phone for emergencies when u just need it with u and not to use it much

Lol yeah but its impressive for a Nokia. I like the look and quailty of the phone I used to have the 6300 as a second phone it was very reliable but a little bland with crap battery life and dreadful camera. This looks heaps better
I thought when I first read it that cos of the long battery life it might use OLED display but it does not. It just uses a high powered battery. It uses a BL 5CT 1050 battery. The colours are silver black and brown. [ This Message was edited by: Bonovox on 2009-06-08 01:42 ]

Its a nice decent phone for the price though like Sony Ericsson c510 similar in features and price but why no 3G
