Optical Zoom in a unit like that is pointless imho! the g800 (and which ever other 6 series phones had it) were terrible!
look at the sony t series for example, anything without a proper 'zoom' out lens suffers quite noticebly when optical zoom is actually used.

True points enough, but just like 903/904SH; N93, manufacturers have to keep trying, to achieve anything decent......
Samsung B600(yes, the 10mp phone-CAMERA from 3 years ago) apparently makes good use of it 's O.Z., so it obviously CAN be done......
And I'm sick of heckling before apt time - let's see some [pref. retail f/w] piccies from it......

The back looks like a cross between a Pixon and a Viewty. But why cant we see the front? Is it really a phone lol. But why can Samsung or LG throw these phones out like there is no tomorrow but SE takes 12 months to bring one out?

Looks more like a Xenon than LED to me from that pic......
Interestingly, also looks like that may be a step-out type zoom...and I reckon it is S60(v.3 or v.5/SF I wouldn't guess at yet)......

About time G810 got a successor...however, if this is running 'normal' proprietory OS, then at least it'll be cheaper than a S60 device......
