guys, what software do you use to convert divx/xvid to AVI? Then from AVI I'll be using Media Go to convert it so it can be played on Aino

any software you would recommend?

thanks a bunch

Posted by HxH
Format Factory great converter for my Satio, I would recommend for Aino too.

About new firmware bit late AFAIK now, schedule move to early May at least

Posted by Mano82
Yess, and Format Factory can be downloaded from here:

http://format-factory.en.softonic.com/

Yari got R7BA084 today. It won't be long.

Posted by angryman
My MH100 stuffed up. I put it in the washing and it doesn't charge up any more, It works if its on the charging dock though.
I think replacing the battery might fix it, but I opened it up and its a non standard 35mm AAA looking type battery.
Does anyone know of SE repair centre would sell me a new one?

Posted by hihihans
It's worth to try. Does an AAA fit? Don't pay to much for a new battery. HM600 is only €40 or so.

Posted by angryman
Nope. doesn't fit.

battery on the right is a AAA

Posted by hihihans
I guess HM600 uses the same battery so should be selling them

Posted by Mano82
@ Bronxdude: It's sp easy to use that a noob like me can easily use it

@ Hihihans: Good to hear that, We want new firmaware

@ Angryman: It's kinda expensive if you buy a new one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-MH-[....]409?IMSfp=TL100409194002r21874

@Mano82 - Will be trying it this morning as soon as I reach home. Am still at work. I work for T-Mobile call centre and I am on the evening shift. and yes, I also want a new Aino firmware. . Thanks for the link as well. I'll be buying a new MH-100 (Or MW600) over at ebay.co.uk and have it shipped here since SE Philippines sucks because they dont sell it here

For a moment I thought I saw that you got a new fw.

Posted by hihihans
@ Bronxdude. Gotcha!
MW-600 ( i always have these HMW? wrong) is cheaper

Posted by Mano82
@ Bronxdude: Let us know what do you think about Format factory after using it I feel you've not too much to do in evening shift And hihihans has shared a link where MW600 is cheaper

@Mano82 - nothing much to do...just to audit calls and make sure that everytime you call t-mobile, our custome support representatives deliver quality service. i grade the calls that our agents give out.

Most likely I'll do it this Saturday, sir. I'll have to find my videos to convert. I've checked out the interface and yes, they look very user-friendly. i'll just do divx/xvid to AVI and let Media Go do the conversion foy my phone

Posted by bronxdude
my slider is not clicking anymore. what do i do?

sometimes it does click when i close/open it, most of the time it doesnt.

sometimes it does click, but most of the time i only hear something like a sandpaper rubbed against each other.

What's the changelog?

Posted by hihihans
It looks like I have to install windows again
When will SE make a Mac version?

Posted by domipost
Send it in for repair or screw it open yourself (which will void your warranty). Shouldn't he too hard and probably there is some dirt which you can remove easily that way.

Hi guys, have anyone updated new formaware? Any changes?

Got this from another site, written by a user "Mario92"

"New stuff:
In camera mode, when you choose between camera, video and view, the letters are black with white outline.

Media menu is bit faster, icons don't bounce, they only go up.

New themes: cherry stream, lime stream, turquoise stream (this one is default theme)

I think another network and date font when in standby (closed phone)

Maybe little faster flash items in browser (themes, wallpapers etc.), not sure.

Loco roco is in full screen, new game BubbleTown2 (full touch game)

Faster image saving when taking a photo 6mpx (for other i dont know, i will test.

Video sound is always good, its not like before (sometimes its good quality, sometimes it's like amr format -.- )

Firmware is 100,6 mb, i had no problems. Updated with SEUS."

Another user "Anmol Kakkar" says:

"Ohk the changes which i noticed are:
1)Under music player: settings->styles-> The image that appears while selecting the default style has been changed to a shining Gold type CD
2) The code appearing in the missed calls, dialled calls and received calls doesnt appear now!
I didnt experience any change in speed of phone, its the same as before (it is not faster than before) "

@bronxdude - I had my Aino repaired in the Store in Galeria. The lock button on the top of the phone broke, was still usable but hard to press. Anyway, it took them a while to diagnose and get back to me (a week maybe)... in the end they changed the whole internal part of the phone. So it's like I got a whole new phone back... with my old semi beat up body. They told me it was okay to pick up the phone, but when I got there it wasn't there & that there was some mix up with delivery from the main repair place (Semicon does all major repairs here).

Went back the next day to pick up my phone... we couldn't test it cause my battery was totally discharged already, so they opened a brand new Aino box and got the battery from there and put it on my phone... my old battery was put back into the new Aino box... Pity whoever ends up buying that one! Yeah... SE should shape up here, service and some of the stores are cr*ppy.

orbitech - thanks for the feedback. how is the phone after repair?

I went to store in Gateway. I think I have to go to Semicon's main office to have the phone checked. I still think that my slider has become loose. And I feel it.

please fix your repair centres here in the Philippines

Any Ideas

Posted by hihihans
As SEUS says you got latest FW, you must have a branded phone. They may have removed the facebook app. In 049 facebook and twitter acted like a widget.

Just wanna Congratz AINO's page now reached 100

Don't worry, we were all noobs once
Branded means that the software is adjusted to a network. If you have network related icons, for instance "web'n'walk" (T-mobile) instead of internet, it's branded. It's probeally locked too.
I don't know about any free solution but someone will tell you soon if there is. If you're willing to pay for it, I advice Davinci-team.

Sometimes SEUS gives a button called reinstall, that should give you an original FW.
Is your Aino new or used?
