Thanks for that fatreg!

I see

[quote] This change removes that charge and adds text and MMS messaging, as well as putting another 10 countries to the supported list and - strangely - removing Japan. ]/quote]

I know Vodafone doesn't exist in Japan any more so guess that's why they removed Japan.

Time to call Vodafone's customer services

This is something which I've been waiting for! I was expecting Vodafone to do this since their Passport service has been around for quite a while and such a progression was logical, it is just a shame that I'm not with them any more

If only others now follow suit (I'm looking at you O2).

About time too! Always made no sense to me that Vodafone couldnt sort this out seeing as they cover so many countries

If vodaphone does it the others will have to follow suit its the nature of the mobile phone service providers give it a few months!

Any chances of this being permanent?

Posted by golemsmate
Yup once they've done it and others follow its really hard to basically increase prices unless they do it together which chances are that's illegal

I am just waiting to see what Vodafone are going to do now, in term's of increasing prices for UK customer's. How they are going to sneakly do this, in order to recoup the revenue they will not be getting in Europe this summer.

The list of 45 'regions' includes New Zealand and Australia too.

If its only temp by the time the other networks do the same summer will be over B-)though obviously we dont all just travel in summer.
