hi. makigulo ako. you can use wireless link in sending the tones if you're using win2000. an icon will appear in your taskbar and desktop if your phone and the IR's aligned.
better yet, download floAt's mobile agent. do a search of the forum there's a thread about it. the download site is at http://eflame.com/fma

just rename the *.txt file to *.imy and you can also use sendfile from christersson.org to send stuff to your phone.

did u literally change the file to "*.imy"? if u did then wrong move dude... coz wut i meant was change the file name like this... example: chicago bulls theme.txt
rename it to: chicago bulls theme.imy

rtttl is the ringtone format for most mobile phones like nokia, etc. i-melody is the format for sony ericsson phones, siemens (i think). i-melody is much more versatile... there ya go dude
wap = wireless application protocol
gprs = general packet radio system
mms = multimedia messaging service
