Guys, the mac isn't playing nice with the W810, so I can't transfer the photos off it!
I'm likely to head into London tomorrow, I'll take it along, but the person who has it next will need to copy my photos off it.

Does your own phone communicate with your Mac ? Then you could transfer the pics to your phone, using Bluetooth, and then to your Mac.

No. At no point was that suggestion taken seriously. There is a list to follow and Thomas93 is next.
If after a reasonable amount of time he hasn't replied to a PM then Shelly58 is next after that.
I'm sure Arien617 won't have any trouble getting hold of Masseur if the others are no-shows.

Given the nature of our predicament, I, personally, think it would be better if the phone went to Lee, unless Thomas or any others have objections to this.
EDIT: Objections which you may PM to me, or make them public. Whichever. I'm going out soon, so the phone will not be out before last collection today. I'm allowing plenty of time for people to reply, and if not, it'll be out to Lee on Monday morning.

Send the phone to Lee, I think this thread is about the W810i and the places it will travel and it would be sad to see it missing out on such a journey, I don't mind Lee "pushing in" if it means we will get some exciting pics and knowing Lee we will.
This isn't a race to get the W810 around the World in 80 days, it is a tour and the more places it visits the better even if it means we don't go in numerical order!
This has nothing to do with the Mods other than their participation within the thread, the only one who should be making decisions as to where the phone goes is the said owner of the phone and OP GarlicBread.
In the mean time we are all entitled to our opinions, but lets keep our toys within the pram and dummies in our mouths!

Somebody obviously needs to take control of matters relating to the phone's destination and be determinate in regard to matters there of.
Lee has good rep on here and would be an asset to the project i'm sure, on the other hand, you cannot have every Tom, Dick or Harry pushing in and laying claim to a crack at the W810 causing disruption to an already agreed schedule

Thomas was not a late entry, he got in before me and I got in early.
It's supposed to be simple. Get the phone, take some photos, post them online, send the phone to the next on the list.

So it's alright for him to be pushed up the list (for no real reason I might add) and not for Lee when we have the oppotunity for it to go to Thailand. Unless you know someone in Thailand or we have a respected member here that lives in Thailand that wants to join in. come on guys, this has somewhat lost the spirit and goodwill of Esato which I thought was a large part of this friendly trip the phone is taking.
Was the list really ever anything more than simply a list of interested participants? I've scanned the topic and only see names being added as people showed interest, I haven't seen any particular overall ordering except that.
But anyway... surely its better to give this phone the best trip possible in terms of distances and locations, and so that we get the most out of this experience, and so we can show others our cummunity fun and spirit?
fun things like this don't really need rules... we just make it up as we go along!
