Best Bluetooth Headphones?

Click to view updated thread with images

Posted by GoldFinger
Hi all i'm wondering what the best bluetooth headphones are, recently bought my gf a W595 and am looking to get her some headphones so she can keep the hoe in her bag.

Would be good to have one with a 3.5mm jack.

Anyway basically wanted to ask what others thought the best we should look at are?

And also is the DS205 out yet and if not why, it was meant to be out early 2008 i thought?

Anyway doesn't have to be just SE but needs to have built in mic for phone calls..

I have the Sony Ericsson HBH-DS980 and they sound great, good bass and they come with 3 interchangeable earplugs to fit your ear better.

Posted by aquared29
incidentally i use it also and am so satisfied it has a good sound..

Buy HBH-DS980.... it has excellent sound quality

Posted by HxH
how many hours for music listening for DS980, I'm interesting this performace?

thanks

Posted by buntoo
Peformance is Superb..., but the battery time is not as stated officially to be 6hours of music stream. It hardly plays 4hours of continuous music.

DS980 is the best, great sound quality

@pt020, those look pretty good, did you modify the headphone wires yourself?

@GoldFinger, I'm using the DS205 with the HPM-77 headset and it sounds great. You could give that a try rather than the DS980 if you prefer to have the 3.5mm jack.

Sony DR BT50

Posted by idumbakumar
i have SE DS200

with that u can change the headset means it has 3.5mm jack where as ds980 doesn't have this. but that looks good.

ds200's sound quality is good. even its very good with nokia phone i tried.

I think that the best headphones are Sony Ericsson HBH-IS800 Stereo Bluetooth Headset

@pt020, thanks for enlightening me. Those look really good. It's quite a unique feature since most headphones usually come with a 50cm cord and an additional 50cm extension.

I'm sure they must sound great, but I'm more used to using earphones outdoors. As I've mentioned, I'm currently using the DS205 with my HPM-77s and they make a great combination. I've previously considered the Sennheiser CX300 but the wire's too long. Pity they don't make them with a shorter wire so I could use them with my DS205.

Buy HBH-DS980 as what others have said. This headset produces good sound quality (of course, it still depends on the quality of the audio you're playing). Anyhow, in terms of headset quality, this one is a great buy. Plus, it has automatic volume adjuster.

I would get that, i have it but in all black, and on offer for £25 at the CPW (normally £50 )

Just buy hbh Ds980. Amazing sound quality. You will not miss any single sound. Sometimes it is become hard for me to differenciate whether it is from outside or from mobile.
Forget radio, if you want to use bluetooth.

i use the sony dr-bt50 great sound for bt amazing battery life with handsfree, next prev track pause, play and volume control

Just wish they would bring out a new version with even better quality sound. They are good but ive had them for ages. Sony have released new bt headphones this year the DR-BT101

Enjoy rich, clear sound for hours on end through the headphone’s 30mm neodymium driver; twelve hours of playback means there is no risk of running out of power on long journeys. As both models support A2DP, AVRCP, HFP and HSP Bluetooth® profiles, Sony’s new Bluetooth® headphone range keeps you connected and cable free whether you’re travelling, exercising or just listening to your favourite tracks at home.

OK OK sounds good but the dr-bt50s have a 40mm neodymium driver which i guess would make a difference?

I may just have to get the DR-BT101! has anyone got them? what you think? any better out there???

the philips headset has a skip forward/backward button. it's on the left side.

what it doesn't have is a hold button. a little annoying if you accidentally press any of the function buttons. other than than that... the headset rocks!

I use this Altec Backbeat 903, Good sound, goos bass, double mic

Posted by gotgame740
well i use the ds 205 and it's GREAT. although the battery only gets about 4-5 hours on a charge, that's really more than i need for an average day (not so great on long trips though). not to mention the fact that you can change the volume AND skip forwards and backward between tracks. plus you can use whatever earphones you want, or plug in some speakers (it works wonderfully). it can almost be like there's a 3.5 mm jack on your phone, except it's outside your phone

gotgame740's headset model is good imo too.

I bought whole four of these items at different times off of evil Bay trying to get me a genuine pair and each time got ripped of with some cheap Chinese knock offs.

I am using a HBH-DS980 I recently purchased from Timtechs. It works great with my SE phone and I like it because of the good sound quality and it's not too bulky

I use Jabra's BT-3030, i find the battery lasts forever i've used it for about 5-6 hours straight on a single charge, the downside is that it doesnt have a screen, but it comes with a chain, to use it around your neck, and also have a clip, in case you want to use it without the chain... it also sports a 3.5 mm jack, so you can plug in the headphones you like most, in my case I'm using it along my Sennheisers CX-400, they sound great

My favourite Headphones at all are currently the HBH-IS800.

Free and easy to wear, no cables around the body. Good for sports.

But ok the last time i was doing sports i was sweating a lot, and the exudation got in to the microphone and killed the headphones Got them replaced as i didnt know why they have not turned on again.

Any recommendations for BT-Headphones when doing sports?
