Well to cut a long story short I lost my phone in Austria and got a new one, Nokia 5800. I have been given another simcard which is supposed to be the same number, but when I put it in the phone it doesn't work. Do I maybe have to wait 24 hours or something?
EDIT: "sim card registration failed" is the error I get.

The SIM may need activating. Give your phone company a ring.

yeah I'm cool, you'll need to call carphone o2 and they will remove the transport bar on the sim
