google maps on HTC touch cruise

ki i bought an htc touch cruise
i have downloaded google maps on it but do you have to pay extra for using it by turn by turn navigation the phone has build in gps
originally there was tom tom in the pakket but you have to download all the maps and that costs lots of money
plz give some reaction
