02 now do a 12month sim only deal for £20 you get alot of mins and texts plus the internaet bolt on..

I dunno if it's ideal tbh cos you get no phone and your stuck for 12months :?
btw ive been looking myself for a wicked deal I want 300mins, 500 texts and internet inc for atleast £15 if I can get it

They've updated all the Simplicity tariffs now.

Online are doing 300 minutes and 600 texts for £15 a month, or for £20 a month their doing 600 minutes 1200 texts and one of the unlimited boltons, which includes unlimited Internet (on your phone, you can't turn your phone into a modem for your PC using that).

Or yes, as Kerry says, they do a 12 month one, which is good if like me, you know that you never keep your phone long enough to warrant an 18 month contract, which will cost you an additional £270 over the 18 months (£15 price difference between the £20 sim only and the £35 with a phone deal, over 18 months) that you might as well put towards a phone anyway.

The 12 month one offers 800 minutes and 1600 texts plus one of the unlimited boltons.

So mins are goin up on the 15quid deal and not the 20quid one? Seems bit unfair. Why not give people more options. For example with the 20quid sim only give 600mins and 1200txts or 700mins and 800txts or 800mins and 400txts. That would put them 1 step ahead of rival networks

Because O2, and more importantly, simplicity, is all about just that, KEEPING IT SIMPLE. The reason O2 don't have any more than 6 tariffs for each type (sim only, with a phone, 12 month sim only etc) is because it keeps things simple rather than baffeling people with loads of tariffs, like Orange.

Rubbish! Lol its because they want to give away the least possible. Theyve only bumpd up the 15quid minutes to match a rival networks 15quid sim only tarrif (350mins 500txts)

So boo bloody hoo, go to another network. Any more stupid questions?

The Orange Panther 30...

It gives you 1200 Minutes, Unlimited Text Messages and 500MB of Data...

Go for the O2 deal you will not be let down. Remember Unlimited Texts and Unlimited Internet on T mobile and other networks, is subject to a fair usage policy of about (3000) texts on T mobile and (so much only GIG/MB for data).

As the saying goes, always read the small print. However with O2 no fair usage policy. Only excessive usage = use as much as you want .

Oh and you get O2 treats 2211 free mins and sms every 3 months on top of your allowance, and discounts on the O2 Arena, and Priority tickets to all events, including English Rugby and oh Prioirty Level too

You won't be let down. O2 I heard is pretty good.

Oh and before people start commenting on my thread. Lets keep to the topic guys for the benefit of the thread starter.

cheapest for unlimited text i'd say is Dolphin 15 with 200mins and unlimited text for 15pounds a month

Or O2's Bonus 100 tariff, £15/month, 100 minutes and unlimited texts BUT you get a Nokia 5800 or similar, but it's a 24 month contract. Good if you want a phone too.

I wouldn't really call 3000 sms unlimited, as per orange terms and conditions on unlimited bundles:

Plans and Bundles
Orange Unlimited Bundles - Terms and Conditions from 1st March 2008

These Offers are available to new and existing customers connecting or upgrading to an Eligible Talkplan (as defined below) between 1st March 2008 and 31st July 2008 (an “Eligible Customer”).
The Offers are subject at all times to a fair usage policy of 3000 minutes or texts (as appropriate) each month. Usage above this amount will constitute abuse and Orange may monitor usage and withdraw the Offer from your account if the fair usage policy is abused.

I got a Vodafone SIM deal for £10 per month on a 30 day contract. Gives me 100 minutes and unlimited texts each month. I prefer to text than call, so its a good offer for me. got it from uksimdeals.co.uk
