Hi all, it's my birthday this monday, I turn 19. The problem is, that I have classes at uni, from 8am to 12pm, and from 2pm to 6pm. I just started studying there last semester and haven't done many friends. Apart from that, it seems to me that my birthday is the day everybody remembers me, even friends from school. If I could duplicate o triplicate myself that would be great. It's just that those classes are very important for me and can't miss them. So I won't have much time to hang around with friends, let alone with all of them.
I have got some plans for Sunday, with the family, but you know, a birthday is most special on "that" day. Well, I really don't know what to do. Suppose I'll just rethink my life in the spare time lol.
Has something similar ever happened toy you guys?? Guess I'm a bit unlucky that my birthday fell on weekday and not on weekend

some ppl celebrate their bday for a week. you could do the same. you can start from tomorrow and end it up on monday.

yeah, I was making plan with some friends, wich got cancelled because they need to study. They are applying for a vacant at different universities atm. That's also part of being young (at my age). Not everybody goes strait to uni, some people try for a year or two.
Well my dad's on a trip coz of his job and comes back in March, I wanted a P1 for my birthday ^^, anyway, what can I do if not everybody can hang out? Not even my sister !! lol, every person I think about is sorta busy. Well also, I don't really drink or go to discos, not my stuff. So what other things can I do ??? any suggestions

gather either in a friend's house or yours and have some snacks, buy a cake and some sodas/juices. put some music on and enjoy yourselves.

The norm with me and my friends is if our birthday's fall on a weekday, we always arrange something for the weekend following it... that way people are normally free and dont have an excuse not to come out!
As for what you can do, either something like @tranced suggested, or perhaps ten-pin bowling or the cinema and a meal after/before?

As for drinking go for it! a little drop or two never hurt anyone! I wouldn't suggest getting paralytic though not good for a) you and b) your bank balance!
just go out after uni at 6pm, get yourself down a local bar with some pals, make it fancy dress or everyone has to wear something pink etc etc...
