Hi there, has anyone tried using the ITC-60 cable on any other phones other then the C905? I thought it was just for the C905 but I was on the W900i Compatible Accessories page and came a cross it! So is this a mistake or does it actually work with the W900i and thus should work with other handsets?
Look here: http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]iew=accessories&acc_pid=232768

What do you guys think?

I'd guess the ITC-60 might work with G705, W705 and W715 phones as well.
Although the W900 is a very old platform, it has an NVIDIA graphics accelerator built-in, so there still remains a tiny chance.

So would it work on other handsets, e.g. the K850i? Is there a chance? Or is that different...

thanks

Er.. I think only the audio output works. I didn't test it with photos, but on a C902, audio works fine.

Surely it would only work with A200 phones, and then only the latest generation of A200 such as C902, W902, C702, W980, G705, W705 and W715. It's compatible drivers in the phone firmware you'd need, and older phones won't have them. Phones whose firmware is still being updated on SEUS might inherit the drivers if SE decide they should. Perhaps C905 owners could experiment on their old phones?

Yeah that's what I thought, maybe it is a mistake but then, I can surely buy it for my brother (who has the W900i) and if it does not work, return it saying it was 'falsely advertised'

But yeah like you said, if a C905 @ cable owner could test it out on older mobles you may own, it'd be much appreciated.

thanks

That's quite a cool website, that's for all phones with the fast port connector right? Not just the ones listed?

I've tested my 2 previous phones k800 and k850, both not working. Hope with the big update on mid February we'll be able to watch our videos too. Fingers crossed once more.

Oh, that's a shame, thanks for trying them out anyway. So you can't watch C905 videos already? Did I understand that right?

I just tried it on w980. It doesn't work.

I have c905 and it only show pictures on TV. (donwsized to VGA 640x480)When I choose video I can only hear sound but i Can not see videos?
SE comfirmed that! You can only see pictures.
IMHO I can not recommend it.

That's a shame... With Nokia 6500 slide , you can even watch videos on your TV.

There is not that much settings. You can choose between PAL and NTSC. That's it. ( I tried both )

Sony Ericsson India Customer Care 1800-11-1800 has confirmed that ITC-60 is compatible with C510. Customer care also confirmed that video too can viewed in tv

k850
did anyone test the cable on latest firmware? r1fa035 @ r1fa037 ?
try extract c905 firmware and build up patch for k850.

The ITC-60 should be compatible with any SE phone with TV out capability. Pretty sure it will work with Satio, since some people received this cable with their Satio's in the box.

Just checked Sony Ericsson site, according to them it's compatible with C903, C905 and Satio.
http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]es/overview/itc-60?cc=au&lc=en

But it should work with others - SE rarely list all the compatible phones

It does work with the C905 and Satio. I have both and also have a couple of the tv out cables. The cable doesn't work with the Elm,T650,T700,C901. I've tested those as well.
If anyone wants one I could put a couple up for sale in the accessories section of the market.
