Hello, first time here and with a problem.
My wife was messing with her phone last night and found the "update service" on the phone and decided to try it.
I didn't see what happened, it was all updating fine apparently.
However the hone is failing to boot itself. It begins to boot, the keypad lights up, then switches off and the screen lights up and then goess off and the keypad lights and this process repeats.
I'm a bit worried she's effectivly bricked her phone.
can anyone offer me some help?

The problem is that the phone doesn't appear to be booting for longer than 1 second before it kicks back out. I had it on a USB cable trying to perform an update and it kept picking up the storage media on the phone but only when the screen was illuminated.
The only reason I gave up trying to update last night was down to the fact SEUS was saying my laptop didn't have the at least flash 8 (which it does).

download latest version of flash via IE (must be Internet Explorer, if you download for firefox it doesn't work)

I was using IE, I'm also using vista.
