You use your default browser?!
If yes, true to use opera mini mod, and see, if you can download more than 1Mb.

There might be some limitation by your operator too... Not sure so you should check how it works with different versions of opera mini... With opera mini mod (latest) you should be able to download larger files.

K610 doesn't have flash lite, for that you need to flash to w660 firmware.

Can you help me flash my phone to w660 please?

is this safe or it will work for a month and then my phone gonna explode or something
Posted by med
You mean, if you flash your k610 with w660 firmware?
Posted by Ninja master
yeah the flash thing...is it safe?
Posted by med
Safe, if you know good how to do it.
Else, search for someone who, can do this safely.
And if, your phone has been flashed right with the right firmware, it will work safely not for 1 month but, 4ever.

@ninja master: if you want to flash your phone, the easiest flash tool to use is XS++ v3.1. You can download it from 4shared.com. You can check out some tutorials under software, firmware and drivers forum. There are some experts there. Regarding the firmware and file system for your phone, you can get it as well from 4shared.

Or use the tutorial I posted

i just flashed my phone to w660i but i still can't watch on youtube... it connects to the media server but will say "media file not found".. any suggestions?
Posted by yea g
It could be your network operator, sometimes they block streaming for some customers
Posted by Krauser_zero
If media file n0t found.. The operator or s0mething block the streaming c0nnecti0n..or your server is n0t reliable en0ugh to deal with streaming.. Try to use proxy.. 60.190.151.77 port 8088...

Possible streaming settings problem. Actually I'm also encountering that error message "Media File Not Found" and what I'm doing is that I just keep on retrying to play the video. Sometimes it's a problem with the connection. Another possible error message that might show is "Playback Failed" so I'm just doing the same thing.

@Ninja Master: Have you tried using the YouTube application? If yes, is the same problem occurring? Else download it from either of the following links:
http://www.mediafire.com/?2j2yjbnmqq2
http://www.getjar.com/products/16671/YouTube
If the same problem will occur, try to contact your network provider. Ask them if there is a separate streaming profile that you need to use because sometimes there is a different APN or access point for streaming like Globe network here in the Philippines. http.globe.com.ph is the APN for Internet browsing and then real.globe.com.ph for streaming.
