Newbie needs help, what do I get to replace a P800?

I love my elderly P800 with its touch screen and virtual keyboard. I mostly use my phone for web browsing with Opera Mini 3 Basic, but now want to move on to a phone with JSR-75 support to run Opera 4 Advanced.

I want to be able to access the full versions of sites like Facebook and not get automatically rerouted to a cut-down mobile version with no apps. For that reason I rejected the idea of an iPhone. I would love an X1 but am concerned I would have the same problem there. Any ideas?
