Press release says Q4 2008 (Sometime between Oct and Dec.)
They are no longer showing as 'coming soon' on the Asia-Pacific site so looks like they have been released, but may not have reached stores yet.

noise cancelling does NOT equal better sound at all!
not even close.
its only there to do one thing, 'cancel noise'
turn active noise cancelling on and it will block out more outside noise than standard in ear earphones.
it wont improve sound
