DM3.8
It's on the White balance menu, then change the value +2 to -2 for speed.

On Vits driver i've no idea. I don't have it.

I picked up this tripod at Target for $7.99, and it is very good and sturdy. i just took some shots in near darkness outside, and there was no wobble or shake at all. I even balanced it on my knee for one shot! Its made out of all metal and aluminum.. no plastic crap here. For $7.99 its a great deal.
(pic Taken with C905 DM 3.8 )

The actual spring tension holder for the phone was bought on ebay.. its the one that comes with the 6x zoom lens.
If you put both together, it make an awesome little tripod!

Here are the links if anyone is interested

just messing around with my new tripod a little more, and the 6x zoom lens.. while we wait for the new driver updates

regular no zoom

with 6x zoom lens

pic of lens+tripod

Can you notice that the centre of the picture with the 6x zoom is ok but as you go to the edge the picture gets distorted and blury. Would be better for video when your not looking at a static picture though.

well, the edges are not the focal point of this shot though. like when you take a close up or macro shot, i have observed similar behavior really.

i am gonna take a few more shots in the daytime just to make sure I had the lens lined up correctly, but for a $6.99 lens i think its pretty cool

Posted by wahehe15
I also ordered that cool lens...but its taking forever to have it delivered here...hahaha
I think the pics are nice, just find the correct settings to make it better.

those shots are amazing. bright color, perfect saturation and super sharp. Great noise control as well. I can't believe those came just from small phone camera.

DM3.8 is still beta and you can find the link further back in this thread,
It looks like DM has left us now, so I guess this is his final version...still with the bugs.

Vits driver was looking very good but it looks like he's gone too and I can't find his final driver.

@jake20, daviep : thanks all

@ fangue
could you upload that pic to esato and post a link in here so we can view the EXIF data? thx and great shots

Posted by mikely_28
Fangdue Great pics. I wonder where is DM? I think that this was his last camdrive and we can't expect anymore from him.
I have Satio now but I miss C905 pictures quality. It's better than Satio I think. Pictures from 12 MP are 3MB size max. How can it be? Can U imagine? It's so compressed!!!

Posted by wahehe15
satio's pics are better in bright light bec. of its 12.1 mp but in dark areas c905 is better bec. of the mod,

@mikely_28
Can you upload some sample pictures from the Saito?
That woud be very nice

All,

New here - just wanted to say this is an amazing body of work that has been developed and put in place. Really want to recognize everyone for their efforts in modding the camdriver to bring the c905 very close to realizing it's potential. From reading through, it looks like eltoffer 3.9 and dm 3.5 are the two most complete (non-beta) drivers available. dm 3.8 and the work on EMS are work in progress it seems.

I am trying to understand which is the recommended driver for indoor flash photos (of people in particular). eltoffer 3.9 seems to have better Auto setting but issue with bluish tint for flash pics. DM 3.5 also seems to have some issues with indoor shots as well.

Any thoughts or opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

more pics from C905 with DM 3.8 ^^!

Posted by Bryan84
DM please come back to update!

Posted by jake20
a few more from DM3.8

If either Vit added manual ISO/Shutter to his EMS driver, or DM added manual saturation to his latest driver, you would then have just about the best driver possible.

Right now as it stands, both drivers are excellent, but ...

Vit's driver needs manual ISO/Shutter control
DM's driver needs manual Saturation control

this is just my opinion of course

Lot of noise, lot of compression and looks like 1.3MP at all. God thanks that I left C905 for my wife!

Satio's pics are good during daylight but at night its dark and when you add EV there is a lot of noise, It definitely needs modding.

@jly
nice pic, keep them coming

Get the same effect using spot metering on the last 2 pics
