@jake20

Which is of them has a more accurate color? Detail is almost equal

PS: Congrats for good work you're doing, both testers and developers

Posted by jake20
@eisz
the real color is somewhere between both drivers, but a lot closer to DM3.5 if i had to pick.
I think the color correction of DM3.5 can really help produce more accurate colors depending on the situation.

i am eagerly waiting on both DM's and eltoffer's latest efforts, as they will be the best i think.

how nice can it be when DM's and eltoffer driver fuse together!

hey ho, i can't wait for DM's and eltoffer to release their new driver.

Posted by masada1971
i think that DM was planning to make a superdriver for c905 if i remember right...

Posted by Raiderski
it's not easy I think that DM resigned from this idea

Very nice comparison Jake

I alrady did
now I'm carring my sweet jalou any my new digital camera satio

but that dont mean I'll just jump without the new camera driver

new driver is on the way

Supermode mmmm I dont think so
on the other hand some manual setting will be added to the driver

Posted by jake20
@DM
Sorry to see you moving on .. i guess I got into the C905 game a little late.
How does the Satio camera compare to the c905?

Here is one more low light shot with flash with DM3.5
EDIT: I have updated this post with a comparison shot C905 vs Sony 10.1 MP DCN2 Digital Camera
C905 - There is some noise here, but the colors 100% perfect.

10.1 MP Sony Digital Camera
Actually took a few shots to get a snap that was up to the quality of the C905.. amazing
a little less noise here perhaps, but i think the C905 is a little sharper

Testing my new Night mode (Yes eltoffer, I'll send you a MP about this). Images are resized to 800*600, same night, 3 minutes later, and yes... its the moon, not sun . no color corrections, only JPEG compression tweak for better IQ and iso and shutter speeds.

My next test will be to add a shutter speed mode, maybe replacing WB: auto, hight speed, 1s, 2s, 4s

Date: 2009/09/04 21:22: Iso 200, shutter speed >= 3s. Yes, exif only show 1s

Date: 2009/09/04 21:25: Iso 400, shutter speed 1/10 -> Normal mode

sorry being off-topic

which is the best Acoustics for c905?

Posted by jake20
one more DM 3.5
Although i am eagerly awaiting DM's latest driver, I would still be happy with 3.5 if he stopped here.
Thanks again DM & ELTOFFER for your guys hard work!

Halloween time!
The colors are so accurate, its amazing.

If the C905 had 3x optical zoom, i would never ever want another phone..

Posted by jake20
@DM,
in 3.5 did you do anything with the video recording? i don't know why but my videos all see really grainy and pixely.
they do not look very clean at all. I am not sure why

how do your guys videos look with the C905?
[ This Message was edited by: jake20 on 2009-10-17 18:48 ]

Portrait mode without flash low light

Night portrait wiyhout flash low light

Portrait mode with flash

Night portrait with flash

Hope I helped

still many noise....

OK, LET'S SEE

What I noticed recently....

See that spots on white color of the wall?

It's like a noise... What is that ? I noticed in dark before I take a shoot, that on screen appears "SNOW" like on TV, when you have no signal....

Dots are dancin on screen

It's proposal with light... When you have enough light this spots are less visible before shooting...

In low light you can see them many on screen how "dancin" on screen.

Posted by jake20
DM,
Here a are a few of my comparison shots.. i think i do see a slight improvement in quality

Night Portrait DM 3.5

Night Portrait DM 3.7

DM 3.5 Auto EV+.07

DM 3.7 Auto EV+.07

DM 3.5 Auto EV+1.0

DM 3.7 Auto EV+1.0

DM 3.7

Posted by rajac
mmmmm,DM 3.7 is better,I think.Less noise.

Posted by Bryan84
@DM your 3.7 is with or without Color Correction and/or Manual ISO? So I know if I need to upload the old en.lng or continuing using the edited one.

Posted by jake20
@Bryan84
the new driver appears to also have color correction, and manual ISO.. i kept the same en.lng file as I was using with 3.5, and the menu items still perform the color correction, and change the ISO settings instead of effects.

so, its the same as 3.5

Thank you! Upgrading now then

Posted by jake20
do any of you guys use the image stabilizer feature?
does this degrade the image quality at all?

I use it cause I have shaky hands.

It's said that the quality is not as good as when stabilizer is off though.
