Thanks, anouk.

Does anyone have an alternate download link for Eltoffer 3.9? I can't download it, because the firewall at work blocks 4shared. DOH!

@panonski
-lng file has no effect on driver it is just naming the menu, change the language of the phone to other language and you'll find that effect menu changed back to what it was (effect)

-are you sure that ISO is not working !!!!! strange I'v been using manual ISO since I add the option to the camera and I had no problem

@Darney76
here eltoffer 3.9

Let me tell you how to do it.You don't need -EV,just use Spot,then you can change shutter speed as you like.Here are the examples:

These pics were all taken at auto mode without EV control.
And why are they different?Just think about it.

Hi rajac,
so you are saying I just need to change the ISO setting to reduce the background sunlight?
Using DM 3.5, exactly what settings would you recommend for this shot?

thanks for the help!

thanks bryan.

yes, i am waiting for rajac's response how he was able to get that last picture without the bright light.
I think rajac and anouk take the best pictures here, but I wish they would tell us their settings, instead of being a little secretive about it

Haha yeah certainly. I do learn a lot from this thread, from people like them. Amazing. The low light shots are noise-free. The high light shots are so beautiful when able to control well. Amazing!

One problem is cause I have shaky hands. So sometimes I know why my photos don't seem as clear.

Posted by panonski
> to anouk ( and for dm )

What settings in which driver do you use exactly ?

What is colour corection ? After in EDIT with PHOTO DJ or is it SMART CONTRAST ?
cause I cannot find it anywhere ( at least I cannot find anything named such a "color correction" before I'm shooting the pic )

In ISO values there are OFF, 100, 160, 200, 400.

When I use ISO 100 in low light, it's the same when I use -2.0 EV cause I can't minimize it ( picture is same on 0.0 and on -2.0 EV ) Screen doesn't do anything different.

Only if I'm in very much light, and use ISO 100, EV control is useful. I realize why is that.

Most of all, I want to know what settings should I use to avoid yellow spots which became like noise on pic.

I tried to use Smart contrast, and I see that pic after shooting and before saving, became MUCH lighter, but also without much noise.
( yellow on white is still shows, but I can say this is certainly much less visible )

So anouk can you say to me, which settings in 3,5 DM ISO driver do you use for indoor shots without flash.

Thanks

Thanks,pal.
My C905 was sent to repair.Because the handset is silent。I'll explain how it three photos were taken with my old K850.When I shoot the first, the focus frame is located in center of frame.Just like this:

When the brightness of the screen to upgrade the Central, other places have too much exposure.
But When I was facing the sky and the leaves just like this:

The whole picture exposure is correct.And now what you should do is half-pressing the shutter and Moving the camera to composition.Then press the shutter.
It's very easy.You can lock exposure by half-pressing the shutter.So as to achieve the purpose of controlling shutter speed.

Posted by jake20
ahh.. thanks for that explanation rajac!
here are a few shots using the spot focusing, and then locking in the focus at various points.. i thing i am getting the hang of it now! I will also try an play with the EV settings to further tweak the lighting.

now I just need anouk to tell us his secret to getting great LOW LIGHT shots!

nothing imprtant...most of the time point(but point well) and shoot,the light sourse is always from behind,or next to me.i keep my hands very study and clean my lens .The most important thing is to play with the light sourses and the subject you are about to shoot.Simple but tricky

yes, it looks like the same lens. for $10.99 its worth a shot to see how it works.
I bought mine from ebay here --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=310167469089

Yea, the clear case is kinda ugly, but you are only going to use it for certain shots, your not really carrying the camera around in it. If the thing works then its worth it to me.

I think for other cell cameras these lenses are a waste because they would just amplify the poor quality, but with the C905, it may actually work due to the lens quality of this camera.

There are also really cool magnetic lens add ons, but i don't think it would work with the C905 because of how the lens cover is configured.

Magnetic lenses --> http://usbfever.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=789

I will take some shots with it when i get it, and let you guys know how it works out.

Well, people, this weekend I took my C905a for a walk for the very first time and I had a beautiful day with it @ the greatest Brazilian amusement park. It would be a pain in the @ss to resize all those pictures to post them here and so I uploaded them to my account @ picasaweb, where you can see them with 1600 lines of resolution, so they also have more quality than esato would possibly provide. Please, go to http://picasaweb.google.com/Xpresshutter and see what you think about them.

I was a little bit sceptical about C905's camera quality, but now I am completely sold to it. It is absolutely fantastic!! There's virtually no chromatic fringing in there! I used DM 3.5 with ISO 100 for all shots. My tip is to use center dot metering and then lock the focus and exposure to get the best shots. I also felt in love with the awesome contrast and beautiful colors that it provides! Thanks to all modders here for providing such a wonderful job. Now I fully believe that the new Satio won't manage to outperform our phone.

I tryied not to post macro shots, as we all were through with them here.

P.S.: There is not a single editing in those pictures. I've put them straightaway from my phone!

I actually like the one with the crystal case better.. if you are just taking casual pictures while out somewhere, and need the extra zoom. You can just keep the phone it the case and pop on the lens quickly if needed.

This unit here is only good if you are using the tripod with it, which I will not be.

Posted by jake20
you know what... for $6.99 USD, i ordered the one with the Tripod also.. what the heck.. I will try them both

@wahehe15
well, i ordered both since they are so cheap, but how do you know which one is better?
have you actually tried it with your c905?
I am curious as to how you so sure which one is better.

thanks!

i ordered this one from the same seller, but on US ebay site.. its only $6.99 USD
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180412649514
but look at this picture, i am not sure if the knob to tighten the clamp interferes with the ZOOM buttons. The phone they show is not a C905.

even if its crap, its not a lot of money

the lens are the same but the one with the tripod is better because you don't need to put a crystal case, you just have to clip the base to the phone

it fits a lot of phones even digicams
