yeah,I like the color of Toffer 3.7.But I have not tried it at night.
mmm,I'll try it .

due to my test i decide to release a new version 3.8

it has minimum changes the most important, FLASH COLOR

please try and rate, i think it gives more accurate color when flash is used, and the same color as 3.7 driver at "day pics" (vivid colors)

Toffer 3.8

AUTO ISO - AUTO FOCUS - NO-FLASH

AUTO ISO - AUTO FOCUS - FLASH (In room with room lights off)

Why C905 in original camdrive and also in modded camdrive use shutter speed 1/120 when flash is used. Isnt that to fast shutter speed for low light situation? All my Canon cameras use 1/60 shutter speed when flash is used and some of them dont have optical image stabilizator.
There is also rule---- if the focal length is 60mm the “safe” shutter speed would be 1/60sec.
http://www.dyxum.com/columns/[....]Aperture_and_Shutter_Speed.asp
You can also google it and find a lot of corellation between focal length and safe shutter speed.

@anouk, just enter www.imageshack.us, then click browse select your image and tick RESIZE and select 1280*1024 and thats all

@mausaca

what do you think about colors now???? be honest ^^ it helps me to improve drivers

@igica11

well for a "flash shot" the faster the better to "freeze" the moment, if you add ms delay on flash it could helps to get a more enlightened environment

Posted by igica11
Sorry I dont understand what you mean with "if you add ms delay on flash". What is "ms delay"?

And tnx for camdrive

no noise,
the colors are good,
but perhaps too vivicolor?!
However, it is a good driver ^ _ ^

I think 3.8 version colour is not so good (just for comment, hope elf you don't mind).

It's not same with the original colour after shot with flash.

Microseconds delay. I suppose.

I know that is Microseconds delay But I dont know how can flash delay influence on picture exposure

Posted by eltoffer
in fact it is miliseconds delay, and its also known as SLOW SYNCHRO and it keeps subjects and distance background bright

example

Normal Flash

Slow synchro on flash

Posted by Bryan84
Woah! That's lots of difference!

errm guys i got a noob question but how do you access the manual iso settting with the DM's new 3.2 cam driver?

eltoffer I understand now what you mean. Second picture is probably taken with very slow shutter speed-maybe 1/8-that is too low for my shaky hands . I will experiance few days with shutter speed 1/60 and compare them with those taken with 1/120. Decreasing shutter speed from 1/120 to 1/60 camera will be able to expose the ambient light more properly for objects out of reach of the flash, like background-especially if backround have some source of light(for example in large hall). In low light situations with high shutter speed the background might appear very underexposed.

Picture taken with 1/60 wont be so "frozen" as with 1/120 but with appropriate sharpening this small disantvage can be solved.

PS
I dont use sharpening in camdrive (set to 0) because sharpening algorithm in c905 is to basic for my taste. I make sharpening in Adobe lightroom and I use different sharpening for outdoor image than for indoor image than for portrait. With adobe lightroom you can also avoid sharpening noise which came with ISO200. For example if you set:
Amount-50
radius-1,2
detail-17
masking-85
only edges will be sharpened leaving iso noise untouched.

Maybe lng.file was written for english language and you are using different language in C905

Posted by dark_axl21
Nop i'm using english as well...
the original file in the 'ISO' folder was english right?

Comparasion between shutter speed 1/60 an 1/120

I cant see any disantvantages of usin 1/60 in this comparasion(for example to see blur).

Note that difference in my comparasion is bigger because objects was not close to flash and in room was a lot of daylight. If i took picture in totally dark room differece wouldnt be so big. If i took picture of person in large illuminated hall difference would be again big because shutter speed 1/60 would expose the ambient light more properly for objects out of reach of the flash.
And note that I set sharpnes to 0 because i edit sharpnes in Lightroom.

Comparasion in full size:
