funny thing is that you guys are talking about some kind of constant tables of quantization while Cyber-shots uses variable quantization. these tables do nothing, you can even delete all values from them and guess what... nothing will happen. increased details are placebo effect

did you ever wonder why jpeg size can jump from 2MB to 6MB in modded driver? because you can change settings like quality range and jpeg size range for variable quantization generator. in EXIF you'll find that your pictures vary in quantization and quality. in this case, what's the point of constant table from driver? for me none

well let me explain you c905 is only able to set 100, 125, 160, 200, 250, 320, 400, 500 etc so your values are not allowed

OK than

iso100
iso125
iso160
iso250

Testing my new Night mode (Yes eltoffer, I'll send you a MP about this). Images are resized to 800*600, same night, 3 minutes later, and yes... its the moon, not sun . no color corrections, only JPEG compression tweak for better IQ and iso and shutter speeds.

My next test will be to add a shutter speed mode, maybe replacing WB: auto, hight speed, 1s, 2s, 4s

Date: 2009/09/04 21:22: Iso 200, shutter speed >= 3s. Yes, exif only show 1s

Date: 2009/09/04 21:25: Iso 400, shutter speed 1/10 -> Normal mode

mmmm....eltoffer,look at these 2 pics and see what's the difference.
DM 3.2 ISO 100 1s

Eltoffer 3.7 ISO 100 1s

Exif of the 2 pics are the same.But in fact,brightness of two photos is different.

Ok let me explain you what is shutter speed.

it ONLY determine how long the lens or diaphragm will be open and capture everything in this length of time

so in my night pic and yours, shutter speed doesnt matter completly because you wont get a brighter or darker image for a long shutter speed, it is only useful when you have enough light sources to give more exposure to your pic and also the right ISO value like in this example

or to give a moving effect to your pics, again, only it you have enough light sources

thanks

Seems like you'd have to be there to know which has more accurate color. anouk82, which looks more like the real thing?

Well i was there. so what i see with my naked eye is the colours i get from toffer 3.7,it's 100% accurate and i prefer REAL colours so...colours 3.7 but as a driver i prefer DM 3.2.Dark Magician you need to step down the cold bluish colours and bring back the warm colours your driver once had.It's not my opinion,it's REAL colours,that's what is all about.DM...VERY good driver.You too toffer,perfect colours.

Hi,DM.Let me tell you why I prefer your V3.2.Maybe few people notes the problem of C905----Yellow overflow.Take a look at your photographs of the leaves.They stick together!However, when using the 3.2 ,this will not happen.Why not?
Hue.So,I think I can get more layering picture with DM 3.2.I'm not good at English.hope I have expressed clearly.

bro i have seen your code and i dont understand why if you use 7 on saturation, it seems to be as the original one

@all

guys i know why you like DM driver, about the yellow corners seems to have disappeared but let me explain you i would like to ask you to take a pic with the original driver and with DM3.2 and you wont notice any difference in colors

1.- original driver (at least for me) doesnt gives me yellows corners it appears when increasing saturation
2.- in order to point one, thats why you asked for more warm colors

hope satio doesnt has this annoying issues XD im going for it

I sooo need these drivers. I do.
But I can't get A2Uploader to understand my phone.
"Phone State Retail".
Do I have to unlock / flash / whatever, to solve this? I just have a feeling that I'm gonna mess the phone up by doing it...

No other way?
Thanks!

All pictures look so nice!

Posted by daviep
try downloading the latest version of A2 uploader,should solve this.

Well, I wasn't obviously smarter than that. Thanks!

But, now I'm not sure if the drivers installed properly. I can't see any significant improvement. I mean, this picture was taken 30 minutes ago, indoors (doh), with minimal lightning (a dim lamp). This was the best out of three (four if we count the one I took with flash, that turned out splendid, just like always), and it's really, really grainy. But then again, I'm no pro. I don't know what settings to stay away from, and which ones that works optimal for various situations.

Anyway, I also include a slightly better macro shot I recently took.

Hi Guys
Thanks a lot !
i just rad 82 pages LOL
anyway i liked all the driver
exepet that xpertice 4.1 whatever would that be
i cheaked the drivers and i liked it, it worked only on the new version R1EA035
now im using Camdriver C905 3.7 by elToffer
and im wery glad
thank you
i hope you will can get a better focus (i mean closer if it can)
and more shutter speed
thank you

DM,If there is a manual focus in the driver,we can take photos at "marco mode" and 2s.It's very useful when I don't have enough light sources,I think.So ahh...I remember that you said you would creat a superdriver for C905.If it's true,C905 would not only be a phone,but a real DC which can be used as a phone.

hey guys
Camdriver C905 3.7 by elToffer is very good but it doesnt save me any photoes to my c905 ?
and video also, it just dont save them!

One question. Is it posible to make camdrive which will automatic use Flourescent white balace when flash is used?? And when flash is not used it will use auto white balance.
I have discovered that i realy like colors when flash fired and Flourescent white balace is turn on.
Is not very convenient to manually turn on Flourescent white balace for indoor shot and than turn it of for outdoors shot.
What I have to write in camdrive-any suggestion???

@eltoffer
obviously your CamDriver has brighter colors and sharp, even if the comparison is from 8.1 to 12.1 MPX ..........
as soon as' available in Italy, will buy 'the' SATIO "to 12 MPX Even though I know that will not be 'possible modding, so it will not be' as much fun as with the C905

eltoffer,
I've read quite a bit of this forum, but I have what may be a dumb question. Do we still have any control over white balance with your driver? I'm finding that my indoor pictures without flash are far too warm in color, and I think if I had white balance control, I could correct it.

That leads me to another question. Is it possible to relegate the added manual controls (ISO, video res) to keypad short cuts, so that we can keep the original menu functionality (e.g. white balance, effects, etc)?

Thanks, for all your work on this driver. I am loving 3.7.
