Hi
Anyone managed to connect the X1 to Microsoft Exchange 2003 with ActiveSync?
I'm getting error code 0x80072F17.
Think this may be something to do with the Certificate on the Exchange server as this is not valid.
Tried accepting the Certificate on the X1 with Opera & IE but this has not had any luck.
Anyone any ideas or can maybe confirm that you have X1 & Exchange working OK?

Thanks myth®
No luck with that.
It's something to do with SBS2003, WM6.1 & the handset.
I'll need to keep looking.

X1 and exchange 2003/2007 work great. It's most likely some certificate error. Contact you serverprovider and ask for the public part of the used certificate. If they use a non commercial / selfsigned certificate or a certificate that's not in the phone, u need to install it on the phone.
if they use a selfsigned they realy should change for a commercial on as this will be a problem with all phones, and the support cost will be saved on 2-3 phones.

Thanks myth.
Seems to be too many problems with Self Certs.
Waiting for a commercial one from a CA to be setup just now.

Thanks nexus-x1
Godaddy seem to do cheap SSL Certs., £90 for 5 years so seems like a better option.
One thing you could perhaps help with is the Exchange Settings on the X1?
Have seen reference to "domain\\username" instead of just "username" & the "Domain" being different from the "Server Address".
I assume we don't need /exchange after the server address?
