P1i Bluetooth Car Kit Connectivity

Hello

Recently purchased a P1i and tried connecting it to my built in bluetooth kit in my Peugeot 207. Problem is that when I select the found bluetooth device from the P1i it comes up with a lovely message on my Peugeot 207 LCD saying 'Paring conditions don't meet' - making the bonding failed.

This worked perfectly on my old K810i and they both have the same bluetooth technology.

Are there any hidden settings to configure the bluetooth device on the P1i?

Any other advice is greatly appreciated.

Symbian devices have always had difficulty connecting to in-car Bluetooth. All I can recommend is to ensure you have the latest firmware on your P1i, then check with peugoet for any firmware upgrades for their system. Lastly, check with peugeot for any known compatibility issues, but be prepared to recieve blanks stares as Service Dept staff generally know nothing about these things.

Same here with my Ford C-Max. All K and Z-series phones I had worked, for the P1 I had to buy a Jabra...
