Just WiMAX edition of HTC Touch HD. Slight difference in design.

well, if these specs are correct its lots the 850 band as HD is quadband

not alot of use in UK at present as wimax is not widely available that I have seen, but useful in Aus as there is quite a bit of wimax now

there is where?

i know Telstra has plans to upgrade their 850mhz next g hsdpa network to 40mbps in the next year.
but i havnt heard of any wimax

hmmm. strange. When we moved from Baulkham Hills to Castle hills 2 1/2 years ago (a couple of months before nextG became available) we were offered a wimax option by Telstra, including a PCMCIA card for my laptop, but we chose to stick with standard cable

however I now don't find this product on the Telstra web site as all wireless now seems to be nextG now that they have moved to 7.2 and 14.4Mbps

so perhaps Telstra aren't offering it anymore?
