I dont know about the screen being 4'' shouldn't it be closer to 3.8'' regardless, the processor isn't snap? This is horrible news badass, it was shaping up to be a great device. Now your saying the reasons for this device being attractive as far as its specs comparitively are concerned aren't. Damn i had my hopes up too, well can you let up know when se plans to have its xperia day? This is a bad news, ppl had really regained hope too, i hope your wrong

u thinking the 3 hardware buttons means Symbian? they'd have to be menu, call and call end. i personally think its android, maybe donut is flexible about the button thing(if there even is a restriction with android)

ooh and the video has the buttons menu, home and back. in the pictures with Rachael "menu" is replaced with an xperia panel symbol. so......this means....android!(coz everyone agrees the video is of an android u.i)

The new devices coming on the 16th must be exceptionall in every way, mostly in user interface, SE needs to work on its interface, they are obviously good at interface, just look at the media player in the latest a200 phones or the media player in the aino. For them to ever regain 4th place in the cell phone market they must concentrate on the user interface, specs aren't enough these days, but it will certainly be hard work. The W995 was introduced here at a price quite a bit less than what the C905 was introduced at. The C905 and the W705 have underwent a decent price revision as well.

i have nothing factual to add:
sony doesnt care if you can afford it or not, at least thats how they used to operate as recently as the PS3 (and some small production specialty speakers) but the value that you get from a genuine product that has some foresight/thought in it, as far as ease of use and integration into the home, home network, and home electronic devices would go a long way to sell this phone based on things ppl use, im finding that ppl are holding on to apple because of the appstore, which isnt so much the phone as it is the platform. more so than apple or some of the other companies, sony is in a few homes a few times over (PS3, TV, Computers which are now wirelessly networked in a % of homes), they should use that to their advantage, making sure their software can communicate effectively with other devices from the same manufacturer, even OTHER manufacturers forget proprietary, just go for the neck!
if youve followed SE at all for the past few years, eldar has quite obviously taken a different tone it was a dramatic change. either he was really hurt by their lack of innovation (which usually takes a few years to become as bitter as he sounds), or their relationship changed, its imperative to take his notes with a spoonful of sodium chloride.

Eldar writes that specifically at the end of the paragraph.
Another thing he mentions is that "a price" will be similar to the price of HTC HD.
But it's not clear if it's about the price of the Android Xperia or of a Samsung Android phone.

Regarding Kiki, I get the feeling it is a non smartphone. SE positioned the Xperia brand as a premium one and said that the Xperia devices 'are NOT tied to a certain Os'...
