None of my camera phones have produce pics of comparable quality with my cybershot w35 yet. even the innov8 itself. though the story becomes different when we talk about ccd phones like imobile 902

I think there is a furious race between mobile phone companies to make high specification sets, e.g. Samsung Innov8, S.E Shiho, Nokia 5800, N82, LG Viewty etc.

My 5 MP i-mobile 902 produces better photos than my old 3 MP Olympus C-350 P&S digicam. Shame that the phone itself sucks big time. Almost completely unusable.

indeed although most phones are still based on CMOS while their physical size keeps getting smaller to fit slimmer phones. by this i highly doubt their quality will be comparable to CCD.tbh i was impressed with innov8's sensor though it's still worse than a standard CCD.

Indeed! That Aura effect.. you get it all without photoshop. Good that they bought the haze in the new firmware versions.. how i missed it when i had "updated" the FW once!

I think a camera phone must have the AUTO-FOCUS.
Without it, u wouldn't capture good close ups! As N73, N95, W810i, W902, K770i etc. have auto-focus so they give better results than non-autofocus phones e.g. N70, W660i, K700 etc.

I know one phone that despite having auto focus had never produced overall better pics than the ccd enabled s700

i agree with razec,my s700 still beats my k750+k850 at taking good outdoor pics and some indoor pics of the k850,no flashburn etc.
time will tell if its the same with my c905!

There r some reasons about W980i:
1. It has no LED flash
2. It's without auto-focus
3. It's 3.15 MP, while K850i and W902, both are 5 MP
K790i, K770i and K810i are also good camera phones!
