Posted by 619
vwb.. di na lumalabas yun 10sex drawing..
ricky... the default wont work in some sites, pag naka apn intern or as modem.. depends

Posted by ferrarista44

i feel better with the P800 not having the 10 sec error, yun restart na lang. saves time. di ka na pahihirapan pang patayin yun phone, at mag-reboot.

Posted by xerx

Posted by vwbeetle

Posted by ferrarista44

Posted by 619
nag 10 sex kayo habang natutulog? ok yun ah....

re pouch, bakit kasi ginagamit pa yun, eh pa cute lang yun.

btw, anybody might be interested w/ new bluespoon chameleon? comes w/ replaceable case.. black and red.

Posted by phage

@phage- yup! it was a PM from you. havent checked Virramall yet though. but i'm hoping to check em out some time soon. i wanna replace my pouch already. does it also have the SonyEricsson stitched on it? or exactly the same, just without the SonyEricsson?

@619- those are some pretty cool stuff. hefty price tags i bet.
ganda pala tignan nun MFOP. seen the photo comparison, astig, linaw. hehe, kaso bago pa Brando ko. tsaka na pag nalaspag na.

@ferrari - just like the original with the stitched logo and nylon/canvas case

Posted by 619
ferr.. the price is $150.00 to be released on 2nd week of sept

Posted by ferrarista44
@phage- i guess i have to check that out soon before stocks run out. yoko kasi nun mga hard leather casing that goes on the belt.
kindly post the price na lang if you're able to get one. and if a lot are in stock pa.

@619- same price as HBH60? bluespoon over hbh60, di ba?

@619, nice bluespoons. Nasira yung Motorola BT ko. After dropping it a few times, nag-crack ang plastic near the hinge. I tried to use super glue, to no avail. Inilibing ko na. Looking for a new one. Thinking of the Jabra Freespeak or the HBH-60. But if the Bluespoon is available here, pwede rin

Posted by ferrarista44
pansin ko lang.
the mineral grey batt cover has fins underneath, the original blue one doesnt. something to prevent deformation?

anyway, anyone here who has bought a P800 that was originally mineral grey already?

@neph- i read the Digital Bluespoon's downloadable brochure yesterday. wow, that is some kickass sh*t pala! galing nun technology in such a very tiny package! hehe, yun na lang!

Posted by 619
fer... new blue battery cover has fins/rib; dbs... the best...and expensive.

Posted by ferrarista44
@vwb-
2 things:

Posted by vwbeetle

Posted by ferrarista44
nga pala, i remember using the internet APN sa Opera lang. hehe.

Posted by antski
I tried using APN:internet.globe.com.ph...and its working now....

make sure to uncheck the "Use WAP account" in the preferred account setting sa Control Panel....

and you don't need to install the Opera browser, it works with the default browser of the P800

un nga lang...its 25cents per kb

Posted by ferrarista44
hmm that's something new to me.
i remember only using the internet APN with Opera eh. that was nun free access pa prepaid sa internet.globe.com.ph. hehe.

I have an HBH 60 paired with my P800. I tried to use the voice dial tonight while driving and it took me several attempts before I could get through. It seems that it's not always a sure thing when it comes to voice dialling.

Any ideas as to how i could improve on this?

Posted by ferrarista44
ako what i do na lang is do a speed dial, then pocket my phone. nakakainis yun beep lang ng beep, tapos hindi naman pala sila magkita nun phone.

Posted by 619
voice dialling is unrealible...

Posted by ferrarista44
@619- kahit sa BS? compare voice dial from BS to T68 and Bs to P800.

from mobile burn:

Sony Ericsson shows off the Z600

and the Sony Ericsson Z200

another interesting concept phone is the blue phone
Quote:
British Telcom and Ericsson are working on an interesting concept called the Blue Phone, designed to allow users to have a single phone, instead of one fixed, and one mobile. The Blue Phone concept uses a Bluetooth adaptor connected to a fixed phone line. When the Bluetooth enabled phone is in range, the Phone will use the fixed line, meaning lower rates. It seems like a simple enough concept, with great benefits to corporate users, who are the target market for such a system.

Currently the system is only being tested in the UK, but it would be interesting to see if other telecom companies pick up on it, as it is something I would certainly like to see in my home.

Voce dialling is really unreliable. It takes me several attempts before succeeding. More often than not, I end up reaching for my phone to do a speed dial.

Posted by fonzki
Maybe it's the timing of your voice dialling that is incorrect. You have to wait for the 3rd beep (i think- coz someone borrowed my BT-200), before you say the voice dialling word.

Unless of course you're trying to voice dial in a noisy environment. Then, good luck trying to get through.

Just my observation & from what i've read before.

Posted by jplacson
I've noticed something with all voice-recognition programs... they seem to respond best to certain tonal qualities in voices.

I, personally, have never had any problems whatsoever with voice rec programs... SE's is one of the best out there... and I really mean one of the best by far! Among all the SE phones however, the one that had the best over-all voice performance was the old R520. The software used in Ericsson/SE phones is all the same... but the DSP, and the mics are slightly different.

For some reason, most voice recognition programs can understand me pretty well... even if I shout from across the room (yes I've tried it with my P800) ... and it can seem to account for variations such as room echo and slight (very slight) ambient noise.

IBM's Dragon is ok too... but it's more annoying to have to correct one error than it is to just type the thing. Although I have to say IBM Dragon works at about a 90% accuracy ratio with me.

The 2 worst voice dialling features I've tried are Nokia's and Philips'. These are by far the worst I've ever come across... with words that sound totally different (in timing, length, and pronunciation) getting mixed up all the time...and consistently too...unless the conditions are ABSOLUTELY THE SAME as the time of the recording of the voice command. (Distance from mic, room noise, speech volume, speech timing) These 2 are totally useless if you even have a slight cold.

Posted by 619
fer... i dont use voice dialling anymore, as my BS is connected to t39, R520 and P800...

Posted by ferrarista44

wala naman akong binago ever since i first synched with my P800.
all Sync Station settings are on "use default xxx folder"

peeps
hingi sana ako tulong sa mms ko. nagawa ko na yung setup go p800 na save ko narin. pero di ako makasend ng mms. hanggang 94% tapos nageerror na. an error occured in the communication with the wap gateways. under globe ako p800 unit postpaid. thanks

Posted by senninha
call globe customer service. before, you used to have to call them to activate mms for your phone number. don't know if you still have to do that tho. when they used to have to activate it, it would take anywhere from a few hours to days or weeks...

Posted by ferrarista44
MMS activation and MMS settings come OTA. that is the "GO P800" to 2951. no need to call em up anymore unlike before. i had my MMS activated in less than 10 minutes since i got the 2951 settings.

make sure you send the GO P800 instead of manually inputting the settings.
