no way is this any successor to my t68. i don't know who paul is, but he did nothing, this is just a rip from an MMS demonstation site ( http://mms-demo.telia.se/ ) who obviously created this horrible mockup to demonstrate the technology (and not their design skills).
i'm going to ignore it now, and hope it goes away soon. yuck.

it's not a real phone... the origin of the phone: http://mms-demo.telia.se/ (Swedish site about MMS, created by the swedish network provider Telia Mobile)
ok, the phone has some similarity with
design, but there is no logo.... and the "photos" on threegmobile.net is taken from the Flash demo on Telia's MMS site... the one designing the phone has probably have mostly in mind when creating it, but there is also some inspiration from Nokia... Well....... Not the nicest phone I have ever seen to say the least. I am kinda holding out upgrading my contract so I hear what SE have to offer this year, but having seen Motorolas new phones I am kinda likin the new V600 with Bluetooth, MMS, Camera and nice 65000 colour screen.

the t69 does not seems to have a real SE style.. like the keys and the ear thing..
but i do like the t608 a lot more .. there you recognize that is a SE.. (in my opinion..)

By the looks of it I am drawn to this conclusion:whatever it is(doesn't look like a SE phone to me), it is REALLY UGLY! As already posted it's probably just a demo or dummy phone for TELIA.

i think the reason for the arguement is due to the explaination is in mandarin (chinesE) ..... the author stated clearly he found this from Telia site and he guess this might be the next Sony Ericsson phone. Even he cannot confirm it is real
so take it easy and this is most probably something created by telia themselve

in case you guys didn't notice, all the pictures of phones posted on this thread have Ericsson's distinct YES/NO keypad layout.
This is one thing I miss with the P800.
Ericsson had a GREAT keypad layout with the R320/R520. Sleek and functional.
I wish they kept this in the P800, PLUS the jog-dial on the side. I think the YES/NO + 4-way dpad of Ericsson PLUS the JogDial of Sony is THE best smartphone interface there could be. It allows full ambidextrous use of the phone!
It seems to me that SE is TRYING (pathetic attempts) to return to Ericsson's 'box' designs from way back when.
Kinda sad cuz they didn't capture the classy look that Ericsson always had.
To many corners, to few arcs, no ovals at all. The new designs just aren't sleek enough.
I'm just hoping for a new (alternate) keypad for the P800...along with remapping software.

Unfortunately yet another site is reporting the news of th T69 and associates it with the pic posted above...
www.mobile-review.com has stated that SE are releasing commercial units of the phone in June and the phone is named T69! I am hoping that they just randomly put the pic of the telia phone on their site cause really this isnt what we were wanting
check the site out... it has been known for its reliability, just hope they got the photo wrong

Let's not jump into conclusions. I'm sure with more involvement from Sony contributing to the R&D for design and more intergration to Sony's mainline products ( consumer electronics ), I'm sure that the successor to the not so perfect T68i will definitely a head-turner! I'm positive that Sony'll not allow Ericsson to claim credit alone to bring out another Nokia-killer-phone!
Just by judging what Sony had launched recently in the consumer electronics products, I'm optimistic about what this logo will bring to us, even knock some senses out of the ugly Nokia!

that's more of a comment on the boring, generic designs SE are coming out with these days than anything else.
the keypad on that telia mockup can't work in reality- there's no joystick or joypad, just up and down buttons. bit of a step back, no?
