fdigits, am having hck of problem browsing free with mtn on your -freedom. I will create a modded OM4.2 for you guys then let me know if it will work. I will only be using Socket connection on that modded version. By the way, are you able to browse the homepage of your network provider for free? If yes, what's the URL of the homepage?

My home page is free to browse. Other popular Wap sites are charged and also THE MAIN PROBLEM IS I AM UNABLE TO USE THIRD PARTY BROWSERS LIKE OPERA MINI OR ANY OTHER FOR THAT MATTER. The error i get is ' check your connection settings or contact your operator.'

Den, the MTN homepage is wap.mtnonline.com, though it doesnt matter what the homepage is on Opera. However, the trick is as u state it. we only hope that it won't have been snatched by the network provider before we woluld begin to us ur modded version. nowadays, things are happening fast!

@lawrencell: Actually, even if you have an unsigned Opera Mini on your phone, you should be able to stream videos on YouTube. But it's actually a normal that it redirects to the default browser when trying to open a video on YouTube saying that you have insufficient balance or if you have load, it will be charged. If you want, try to use a working proxy for free browsing on the default browser. Try this one - 221.2.174.164:8081. Anyway, I changed the name of the application so that you guys will recognize you modded it. Hehehe for more info, try to go to Menu>Tools>Help. You will also see the mod details there.

well i think it's my phone it transfer to real time player and it is outside opera mini. i can surf the net see pictures view blogs but can't stream videos and see flash objects. i spend my current balance and tried but it won't start.

is been a lil while. ve been busy with some stuffs . i learnt mtn and zain is been giving some hecks . If u still have hecks with your opera try changing cheat to any of this . . 10.199.212.8/2fa%@site or opm server or music.mtnonline.com%2fa@opm , wap.mtnonline.com%2fa%@opm server . I also got a tweaked apn for mtn that browse free of charge and with any app.also soon update u guys on zain and glo free browsing if time permits.
