k810i dead.only red light near IR blinks

my brother purchased k810i in singapore in february and started using it in august in india..
after using it for three days..i switched it off with ear phones connected and i tried to switch it on...but of no use
no sign of light on the screen of my mobile..only the red light near ir is blinking..not even the batery is charging...

please can anyone tell me what may be the problem..

i gave my mobile in few servicing centres..
but they said that my mobile is not detected by the computer..
i too tried a lot pressing c and all but of no use..

Sorry,i couldn't gave u solution.but there's a possibility reason of ur phone problem above.to make sure the which one problem are?u must show ur setool log here (i think u have).don't use usual step by press 'c' button.but,u must use another secret.please press '2+5' button to connect.

i have connected my batery to my friend's cell after charging the whole night and i found that batery is not full charged..
do you think that this is software problem??

Then try using your phone with your friend's battery or any other battery you are sure it is ok. If it works not, then there is no reason for flashing the phone.

what would be the problem if battery is not charging??
none of the servicing centres in my city were able to fix the problem..

Try flashing the phone with another full charged battery. That will fix any software related problems with your phone so you may solve your problem or, at least, know if it is hardware stuff...

Restoring EROM on DB2020

Supports the following models:

-- DB2020:
K530, K550, K610, K770, K790, K800, K810, S500, T650, V630, W580, W610, W660, W710, W830, W850, W880, Z610, Z710; CID 49/51/52

If your:
-- Telephone is not turned on (but the battery is charged)
-- 6 times flashing red light in the infrared port area
So then you can do it this way.

Attention, be careful! After the upgrade EROM `a through KulanKendi, CID may rise to 53!

1. Download: KulanKendiClient
2. Run, checkbox note: EROM UPDATE.
3. Push Flash Phone
4. Clamped on the phone buttons 2 and 5 and connect it to cable.
5. After completion of the process, remove battery and try to turn on phone.

Don't need to use da vinci wotan or other clients... They are payable. Just use XS++ and put the EROM file as "Flash MAIN firmware" file... Hit FLASH button and you are done.

Connect it to XS++. Only connect and it will show detailed phone info in the log file.

Download XS++

download and install USB flash driver...

Then remove battery from phone and re insert it...

Click connect button on XS++

plug the phone to USB cable while holding the C button down

you will connect then.

Check connection type if it is set to USB.

Maybe you are trying to connect using COM port...

You can try letting the phone on charger for 1 hour at least, but, to be honest, I don't think that is the problem...

Have u tried to clean contacts of connection port with spirit? It might be dirty and gave poor conductance.

KK client is not free though. I don't know if it offers free EROM flashing though, but for MAIN and FS flashing you need to pay.

yes...2 days back when i installed usb flash drivers and tried to connect my phone with xs++ my computer displayed a message that a new hardware is found...but i didn't know what to do after that..

After that, you need to download this drivers:

Extract them and when hardware wizard asks for driver, browse to then and let it install them. Then you can use XS++.

I did this but the Install New Hardware Wizard appeared. Do i need to install software on CD I got with phone onto PC before I start? If so I do not have the disc to hand, can I download it from somewhere?

You can try folowing:
1/Try to clean phone`s connector
2/download SETool Lite 1.08
3/start it
4/push "Identify" button
5/hold together 2 and 5 on phone`s keypad,not "C"
6/plug the cable and wait a few seconds...
Now SETool must recognize your phone...

1/Try to use phone without reflash - may be it will work...
2/Reflash it
But anyway if it work - don`t do anything!
