Serial Cable T68i-WinXp possible?

At my former Job, I used a serial cable to connect and synchronize/download files my WinNT machine and my T68i. At home, I have since recently WinXP and I CANNOT do that connection. The Phone Monitor does not see the T68i (No phone connected)!
Is that a known problem or a misconfiguration on ports/irq or the like? any ideas on how to solve this?

I've been using DRS-10 + Win XP since December 2001. No problem here.

check if you have communications programs that use the com ports. On phone monitor options, you may have to reserve the port where the cable is connected.
