so what version of opera mini ur using. v4.1 is the latest. that downloads everything without using native browser. also downloads quickly.
if u want ro download the picture just presss '1' then select open image.then teh picture will be opened in original size. then save the picture to ur wish.
for downloading other things except picture. u have to follow the valid link then u will get the save option.
note u can't download the things which needs some waiting(dynamic pages). like "link loading plese wait" if u want to download please wait for $$ seconds" like that. for those u need native browser. ex RAPID SHARE.

This is the simplest thing that you can do. Ont he page with the picture you want to download click menu > page information then select the picture you want to download. It heppans on opera mini v4.1

I also have Opera Mini web browser on my phone. I installed Opera Mini 4.1 and Opera Mini 2.06. I always use the Opera Mini 2.06. I am encountering the same problem when downloading. Everytime I try to download any file like pictures, games, applications, etc., it does not complete the download. I haven't tried downloading using Opera Mini 4.1. I can download using the native browser of my phone but not on Opera Mini. Any tips or suggestions?

as i told above u can freely use operamini v4.1 i never found any problem in downloading. it donwloads very faster comparing native browser.

@idumbakumar: Yah, there is no problem downloading using Opera Mini 4.1 but the reason why I'm using Opera Mini Mod 2.06 because I can configure the network settings that allows me to browse the Internet for free. There is a charge for browsing if I'm going to Opera Mini 4.1. There is no option on it to configure the network settings unlike in mod versions.

His country operator probably has bug. That was a case with the Airtel gprs which could be used for free some months ago... It is nothing to do with the phon imho.
Actually if you want to use mobile internet a little you can configure your phone for using internet over bluetooth. That's what I'm doing at home sometimes... I browse web pages with my P1 while it uses my PC broadband connection via bluetooth.

I know about bluetooth internet, it's just a little uncomfortable on k750, because it does not have PAN, and I need to make some tricks for that.

For bluetooth internet on K750 you need to use Sony ericsson SDK's serial networking option via Bluetooth COM port and use some internet browsing application like opera mini to be able to browse...

We may say that we download using any of the versions but remember that it has to engage your native browser at the last step and use it to bring down the file/complete the download

Yeah but it depends on which phone you are using. For phones like K800 (as I had one and used it with PAN) it needed the internal browser launched for downloads, but for my P1 it is downloading directly from the opera mini. I don't know if the downloads go through the built in browser in background, but as far as I have seen it is not launched and can't be found in the task manager while downloading. So on UIQ phone opera mini seems to be downloading files directly from the application.
P.S. For non-smartphones you have modded opera mini applications that support download support and etc...

Well try extracting the files from the .jar file of the opera. Then search through them with hex editor. You may find the server adress like that and change it to the one you need.

default server address can be found running opera mini on a pc with an emulator, and monitoring network connections of the emulator with tcpviewer from sysinternals. Or if I'm not mistaken, it's possible by debugging.

Try using the Sony Ericsson SDK if not. It has on-device debug options and may give you the opportunity to find out the server adress.

I can share it but I don't know if it's gonna work if you're gonna use it. I'm from the Philippines and you're from where? Armenia? Try to download the Opera Mini Mod 2.06 and then configure the following settings:

What version of Opera Mini are you using? Is it 4.1 or a mod version? If it is a mod version, try to put wap.amob.com@ on the download link. For example: http://wap.amob.com@www.mediafire.com/?3aaaaaaamaa
Or you can try using intl.m.yahoo.com@, for example: http://intl.m.yahoo.com@www.mediafire.com/?3aaaaaaamaa
