Hi guys,
Just registered in the forums but have been reading posts since I thought of getting myself a T68i. I finally got one and ditched my 7110, which I've used for a year now.
Nevertheless, I miss some things from my old phone. They are as follows:
1. Yung malambot na cord ng charger.
2. Yung velcro sa cord ng charger. (Had to buy a velcro just so that I could attach one)
3. Yung cute na chick na officemate ko na humihiram ng charger ko. (If only I could get her to buy a SE phone
4. Yung protruding antenna ng 7110 na effective na handle when I get the phone from my pant's pocket and also acts as alternative stylus.
Importante ang mga yan ha!

Just noticed this...
Nokia handsets allow a business card to be sent via SMS to a contact already saved in the phonebook.
In the T68i, After selecting the business card I want to send and selecting via SMS, I was presented with the usual "Number:" prompt. So I pressed the "Option" button expecting a list of contacts and the phonebook won't appear!

@Drktemplar, instead of pressing the option key, note the joystick to the right to access the phonebook when in the number prompt. Now, cal on topic. When i was new with ericsson, i missed a lot coz everything is done differently. Now that i'm used to it, i can't believe i have been hoodwinked by nokia for their 'feature-packed' phones!

Thanks! Tried it and it works! Learned something new today!
But I think its left and not right...

Oops. You're right, It's left.

@* availability of phone charger!
wherever you go, there will always be one, no need to bring SE charger.

Inserting a number from one or several of your contacts while composing sms. Beats sending a business card instead. Also creating a folder and transfering sms from one folder to another.

Scythe 7650 can't insert numbers frm the phonebook. Copy paste lang pwde.
Posted by Scythe
@HIgher: GANUN?! Sa 7110 ko kasi dati patok sa akin yung feature na yun. They should not have taken that feature out. Makes sms-ing easy. At least may copy paste, but t68i has that feature also, when transfering a number's classification within the same Name nga lang in your phonebook.

Yeah, hrap mag insert ng number sa sms ng 7650. Ndi rin pwde mag copy ng phonebook entries galing phone memory to simcard in one go, dpat isa isa.

What i miss in my nokia fone is playing snake. Se fones has lots of games but took me a long tym 2 figure out the objective of some of the games and also i miss bullshiting bitches in my school by sending short messages via businescard without my no. Appearing, i tried it once on my se fone and was surprised to receive a rply!

I also missed assigning different ringtones for each caller group. Just by the ringtone, you already have an idea who's calling.
Please don't get me wrong guys. It's just that I miss those features which I've enjoyed using for a year. In spite of all these I still love my T68i! Definitely kicks ass!

I miss d quick response from the keys. SE phones lag. I dnt like user friendly phones. I like trick phones.. and watch people crack their brains figuring how to get in the menu of a t68. Hehe.

I miss d personalized sms alert,but if i were 2 go bak 2 a nokia,i'll miss a lot more fr my t68mc.

I cannot believe that. After using a 7650, you wanna downgrade to a T68??? Why don't you upgrade to a P800 instead...
Posted by Scythe
With only the camera feature missing as compared to a 7650, which you could very well compensate with having the accessory attachment anyway, I would never call shifting from a 7650 to a t68i downgrading.

lol... Don't mean to diss your phones guys, but the 7650 really is THAT superior to the T68. T68 is stuck where it is(still a great phone tho), but 7650 gets upgraded by the day with more and more 3'rd party software available.
7650 now lets you play MP3's on it, play Gameboy games, read books, record video, view video, customize in every way, browse the real web, and the list goes on and on... To bad about the memory tho..
The only advantage the T68 has over 7650 is size/weight and BT audio.

I'd decided not to get the brick because of those only advantages. Nuff said.
