I have a K800i which seems to connect to internet by itself. I have looked at the manual to see if there is a shortcut key which maybe being pressed by accident and which could be disabled but cannot see anything like that.
Has anyone else had a similar problem or is this a faulty phone?

Does it connect to ur home page? Or r u just seeing the globe on the top of the screen?
If its the latter then maybe its updating an RSS feed or if u have email set up, its checking for new mail.
The internet shortcut softkey cant be disabled but the home page which it goes to can be changed.
U could change the home page to some nonsense entry, then when u press the button it wont connect.
U can also configure it to show a picture or play sound from the phone or mem card. But cant remember how!

Thanks for the reply. It does go to the homepage so looks like the fake site address might be the answer. I would be interested in the picture or sound option if you ever remember!
