There really are more choices than just a BB or iPhone for push E-Mail, but really a lot depends on your priorities for a device and if you need or want a QWERTY or not.
But there are two new BB's coming soon that really do have virtually all you could want. The first to be released anytime soon is the BB Bold that has 3G, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS and great Multimedia support and one of the best screens found on any device. The device that will follow this will be BB's first touchscreen device and should have the same if not very similar spec's.
But there are lot's of other devices you can look at that offer Push E-mail and a QWERTY keyboard or a touchscreen. Only you can really decide what suits your needs best and what you want.

I absolutely love my Blackberry-don't know what I'd do without it! Wouldn't go as far as saying I'd marry it (but then again, wonder if there's any money to be made if I did)-just a thought! Ha
