My friend has a scart-less TV and wants to connect a freeview box to it. What is the best way to do this with the only port being an aerial port? I think an RF modulator may work but can't find any cheap . Also can freeview work with one of those aerials that sit on top of the TV or better still without an aerial? Many thanks

It won't work without the aerial, unless you had it like a metre away from the mast. The small aerial may work, but only in a strong signal area, again somewhere near a mast. Other than that, you'll need a roof aerial.
