T-Mobile and Email Settings Problem

I have t-mobile and have been trying to set up my pop3 email account. I am able to receive my incoming mail but unable to send outgoing via smtp.hotpop.com (I already tried to IP also). I am connecting using GPRS and actually able to find the server, but the outgoing message just hangs for a while and then says "send failed". I have the port setting as "25"

Please Help! I don't want to throw this thing to the ground!

t-mobile hasn't activated their gprs service yet, apart from if you have especially phoned up and blagged ur way onto their pilot scheme. this is for the UK anyway.

Ive got it! I dont know how- just woke up one day and had it!
