I have given OV3RCLOCK3R plenty of time to get this issue resolved but since I have not heard from him for best part of two months.
I thought it would be appropriate to raise a thread to:
a) inform others of whats happenned
b) to see if anyone knows more information so I can get my money back
c) to see if anyone else has had problems with him too.
back in april OV3RCLOCK3R was selling a brand new LG Viewty

After enquring about the phone I was getting lots of texts asking me if I wanted to buy the phone as he needed to pay his phone bill. I sought advise from Aware about OV3RCLOCK3R and he said he was ok.
I duly obliged and paid for the phone (£150) into his halifax bank account on agreement he would get it sent same or next day.
nothing arrived then I had excuses about work and delays and then I was informed his father posted it out via special delivery.
Nothing arrived so I asked for a tracking ref. the tracking ref was invalid and had nothing showing on royal mail website.
I asked OV3RCLOCK3R to chase why the reference was invalid.
I got a response that royal mail had lost the parcel and that he would refund me and chase a claim with royal mail.
Since then he has not replied to my pm's. his phone no is now invalid.
Peterkay has pm'ed him a few times and received a reply about no money about two months ago and no response since then.
OV3RCLOCK3R has £150 of my money and he is not contactable.
I remember he had an ebay alias he told me about ages ago before buying and I noticed there was a couple of sales made on the account since this issue. So i know he is around and trading.
Anyone else have any more info on him. or ideas?
OV3RCLOCK3R maybe you might want to show your face on this thread and explain yourself

No you can't have any of Otis's poo either as that can be DNA traced also.
Although Otis can be hired to retrieve belongings or monies owed for a fee that will be added to the debt. Just remember we are in London so travel will also need to taken into account. i can understand you having a financial crisis but no reply to pm's / emails or your no not working.
it's hardly putting me in the picture and letting me know whats going.
the last correspondence from you has been over 6 weeks ago. so for that period I have been in the dark and can only assume you are avoiding my contact.
so i look forward to your response on how you will resolve this.
I am very flexible person and even if u said I can put a DD in your bank for £10 a week i would have accomodated you.

As always communication is critical.
I can NEVER understand why people go silent, regardless of circumstance. One message to quickly explain why there's a problem takes a matter of seconds and puts the whole thing into a different context. No communication leads to assumption of the worst.

personally i think thats too soft as really anybody that takes money for a phone should'nt spend it in the first place till the phone has been received by the person that bought it! (does'nt matter how skint you are it no excuse!) that goes for anything thats sold.....its dishonest to receive money and spend it when you've not even sent the goods!

I thought Royal Mail tracking numbers are active as soon as you post them as the post office punches the details in to the computer straight away?
Therefore, even it it was a lost phone, the tracking number was still work to an extent?

no thats a valid point and that was exactly the point I made.
that even if the parcel was lost they would have a tracking to the point of it being scanned at post office.
i post special delivery almost every day so was the first thing that came to mind.

just thought i'd give an update.
ov3rclock3r pm'ed me his msn messenger contact details acouple of days after his post on this thread.
I am online all day on msn as required as part of my work. I have to date not caught him online or received a nudge from him yet.
So if you read this ov3rclock3r. Would help if u gave me a time you would be online.

If you have financial problems, don't make any trades.
Yasman does not have to pay your financial problems.
And that "I'll talk to you later" stuff is just a way to delay the resolution of the problem.

Totally agree What really agrieves me is that they brazenly come on and try further deals If there is an open dispute, they should not be allowed to trade, until it is resolved IMHO
They could get round that as there are ways and means, but it cold mean logging on with another username, and not having any feedback, people would be a bit more cautious.

ok finally have had a chat with him on msn.
the agreement is that he gets paid on 15th of august and will pay me on 15th direct into my bank.
