Extracting Calendar files (iCal)

Hi all,

I'm wondering if theres a way to extract a calendar file from a mobile phone. I'm not referring to the calendar you get form synchronizing your phone with a computer. I need the file itself to check whether its in ical format and to what extent it follows/breaks the standard.
