"With a Inner Zoom lens design, the camera lens do not extend out and is able to keep the phone thickness minimum. It also supports auto-focus and face detection. Other than a nice optical zoom camera lens, it can also do 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, WCDMA/GSM global roaming, Bluetooth, media player and accept microSD memory card.

The Inner Zoom SCH-W480 will be available at about 580 USD."

Some more info: http://news.softpedia.com/news/Samsung-SCH-W480-Brings-3X-Optical-Inner-Zoom-87939.shtml ...basically claims that this phone will be available in other countries and something that the first post failed to mention is that it utilizes a CCD lens.
