W810i Dead - Esato archive

Dont know if anyone can offer any advice, my dad's W810i suddenly stopped working last night, he said when he got home from work the phone was switched off so he switched it back on and everything started back up fine but then it turned back off again after minutes. Since then the phone will not turn on at all, he said the battery was fine.

I've taken a look at it and the phone doesnt seem to charge at all, i've tried the usual recovery proceedures for dead phones - i.e the 2+5 button to repair the EROM (or whatever it is called again) and not had any luck, its not detected the phone at all, neither with USB cable nor totalmultiserver COM cable thingy mabob.

Does anyone have any ideas?

U still have warranty?? Take it back

u have to buy that, but only cos for 1 fone, it wouldnt be worth. visit an independent mobile shop, they should have several boxes anyway.
